I’m having a difficult time finding the true definition of nappy. The thing is, I’m not comfortable with that word. I suppose you could say it’s in the same category as nigga. Honestly, my hair spirals, it coils reflecting the movements of the universe. Nappy…where did that come from? Why is that particular word used to define my hair? Same as why is nigga or black used to define my skin, I am melanin rich…words…it’s pure ignorance. ‘Release’ I won’t be limited. I’m not nigga, i’m not black, i’m not African, American, Asian, Hispanic, or European. I am nothing that promotes separation. I am all, I am cosmic.

Leighton Naylor’s fish, Einstein, developed a disease that made it hard for him to swim. So Naylor made him a lifejacket of sorts using repurposed tank tubing, redesigned his tank to make it disability friendly, and nowadays Einstein does just fine.
“People have said I’m crazy but every animal is a valued family member,” Naylor says. “I’ve tried to train all of my fish but Einstein’s my star pupil. He can swim through my fingers and he was getting into fish football when he fell sick.”
The stalks of these flowers are already dried up, but their blossoms are preserved and kept fresh by the medical infusion bags. The life-span of every living creature is limited. The infusion bags stand for the progress in medicine and the prolongation of human life. They somehow carry an ambivalent message as they refer to both death and life the same time. To preserve the beauty of the flowers artifically with the help of the infusion bags points out man’s inclination to repress the fact that he has to die and to postpone death.
